Fenella Lloyd (a specialist tutor with many years experience working with neurodiverse learners) has developed a reading strategy. Findings from an initial action research project at HCA suggest the strategy is useful to a wide range of learners and could support outcomes by enabling a genuine engagement with ‘difficult’ reading material.
Fenella presented her research at the AoC HE Research Conference in June. Her AOC abstract contains further details of her work, and you can also access her Neuro-diverse Learning powerpoint which gives specific specialist information about the project.
